This is my first attempt with color burst. I'll say I wasn't impressed. I sure it's me but this card gave me fits. The color kept fading and looking washed out. The image didn't stamp well on my water color paper even with embossing and using the Misti. I was just so disappointed in these cards I wanted to cry. I was going to do all 100 of my cards with this technique but only completed 26.
Thanks for looking.

Tonda. I just love your rich golds and browns in this! What a gorgeous scene! I too, can't stamp on water color paper so just take a marker and fill in. But do not see any issues with this beautiful card at all. I LOVE those colors!

I think it looks lovely, Tonda. Did you try stamping and embossing first, before the colorburst? It will work like a resist technique. But I think those who don't know what you had in your mind's eye will think these are beautiful when they receive them

I think your card is beautiful, Tonda, and expresses the true meaning of Christmas. Love how your sky seems to glow with the warm golden tones. A black Sharpie is the perfect fix for Versafine ink. I also like to use mixed media paper with my Color Burst .. it is smoother, stamps a little easier, and the Color Burst pigments look great.

Tonda these are amazing! I am with Sabrina maybe do the resist technique with the embossing? The color turned out so beautiful! Fantastic card and I am sure they will be cherished by all who receive them.

Love your take on the warm colors.....more realistic for the area of His birth. Beautiful card. Glad you mentioned the trials of the color bursts....sure can relate. They seem to make mud for me.....it's the person not the product. Nice hints from fellow stampers on using them. TFS
