Created for this months Scraplift challenge - this is the layout I chose to use for inspiration. Merry Christmas by Cathy Mc at Splitcoaststampers
Although I didn't come close to the layers and special embellishments, I had a fun time adding what I normally would not have done. I used this collection of pattern papers because it fit the cover of the book in the photo. Since the photos are so dark I think the Oatmeal Cookie base with the muted color keeps from over stressing the main focus on the image. I let the rhinestone embellishment and the sequins flow along with the flowers to move the eye along. The flow is reproduced with the white shirt and the journaling block too. The icicles are cut in vellum. The doilies and floral images are brushed with Wink of Stella.

I love this! It is wonderful! Love all the sequins and that die cut doily. It all is just perfect with your photos. So sweet , Joyce Ann, and a great lift of your inspiration LO.
