Mix202 = Lydia's technique using cling wrap and water soluble mediums to create a bg. Mine did NOT turn out spectacularly....my fault, not the technique. : )

It's very pretty with a lovely die surrounding your gift card and panel. Wish I could try Lydia's challenge today. I'm in the kitchen most of the day but using cling wrap only for dishes I'm preparing.

I DO think your background is spectacular! You even got the colors to match the gift card. It's a snowy night sky and so perfect for your gift card. I love this idea!

I like the wedgewood look of this card - I understand your frustration with the bg but it works VERY well with that gift card! Yours has much the same look as my first 4 attempts . . .and as I love what you did with it, I may have to dig those out of the trash an see what I can salvage.

I empathize your disappointment in creating, but I think this is beautiful! I especially love how you incorporated the stars from the gift card onto your mix media panel, and that background die cut makes for a lovely layer!
