Although it wasn't required, being near the middle of December, I just couldn't resist making a Christmas card that combined the two challenges.
The card base is 8.5" x 5.5" Whisper White folded in half to form a 5.5" x 4.25" card. Here are the front panel dimensions:
Cherry Cobbler: 5.25" x 1.5"
Mossy Meadow: 5.25" x 2.5"
Pool Party Sentiment Panel: 2.5" x 2.5"
Whisper White Sentiment Matting: 2.625" x 2.625"
The wreath was first stamped using the three Wondrous Wreath multi-layer stamps using Pool Party, then Mossy Meadow, and finally Cherry Cobbler for the berries. This was cut out using the wreath's matching die.
The horizontal panel was created to remind me of a holiday mosaic window. I die cut three wavey lines from the Wonderful Wreath set (one in each of the three challenge colors), then used the Pool Party die cut as my base for the feature (which was glued down (be careful to make sure your horizontal openings are not distorted when you glue it down, so the background doesn't show through when you glue in the mosaic pieces). Then the red mosaic pieces were glued in place to fill where there was a green background, and vice versa. I thought it gave the card an extra festive look.
After the sentiment panel was glued down, I mounted the wreath using Adhesive Foam Strips to give the card some extra depth.
The hardest part of the card was making sure the Pool Party horizontal piece was glued down without distorting the top and bottom openings where I would be gluing in the mosaic pieces. Without this forewarning, the difficulty level would have been a "4". Now that you know to be careful, I'll only rank it a "3". Happy Holidays!

Thank you, Jan, Carolyn and Sharon for your encouragement. The more challenges I do, the wider my experimentation ranges. I appreciate your kind words. -Donna
