I am in love with this card. This was one of those cards where you had to keep going on, see the magic happen bit by bit, get your fingers all inky and have pure crafty fun.
This card was supposed to be my rough/practice piece but the end result is fabulous. I used a Northwoods stamp for this card (donÂ’t know the name but would love to find it out) and followed the Penny Black and Jill tutorial.
Basically I stamped it multiple times using different colors of inks and Tombow brushes for the trees and the stream and stamped it again with versamark and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then used the distress inks to make the background. While I was coloring the trees, the stamp moved a little bit and gave me the double shade. This mistake turned out to be a good thing after heat embossing as it gave me a white shadow which looks like snow! So to complete the snowy wintery background I used white gel pen to add dots.
Wonderful technique that I really enjoyed. I hope you also give it a try if you havenÂ’t. TFL🙂

That is such a gorgeous scene. Great job accomplishing such a wonder. Yes, sometimes a mistake turns out to be a good thing...such as here.
