This is for Cathy's beautiful Sketch Challenge. When I saw the lovely sketch, I thought of hearts cascading down. Anneforte3 (Ann) sent me these hearts that were die-cut from a shimmery paper with a hint of gold that shines so pretty the light hits them. This new-to-me stamp that I found in a thrift store looks so nice in the stitched square. A panel of embossed hearts seemed just right. This card will go to my MIL who doesn't have much for presents, but gives her gift of love year round. Thank you, Cathy for the wonderful layout. Thank you, Ann for the hearts. TFL

Beautiful card, and what you said about your MIL was so touching. It really is about the love, not the gifts. I hope someday my stepson will realize this. Fingers crossed. Lol. I'm hoping to create a card for this challenge. It'll be my first one entered. Thanks for the beautiful inspiration!

That stqamp was a GREAT thrift store find . . .and makes a wonderful focal point for your card. Love the swishy white hearts floating over your creation.

Fav'd before reading the details!! Diane, your card is outstanding! I love the heart embossed panel with the lovely hearts from Ann. You got a fantastic sentiment stamp at the thrift store! It's gorgeous on your card! And it truly is the true gift of Christmas! I'm sure your sweet MIL will love this card as your love for her shows through the card!
