A big congrats to Jan, the Newest Featured Stamper! She is such a sweetheart, always leaving wonderful comments & playing in the challenges & she has a really lovely gallery! I chose THIS to case. I kept the Christmas theme & joy greeting, but I used a die cut image instead of a wreath & added some sponging & snowflakes & used a different embossing folder.
These lovely bells were stamped onto pine green card stock. I used Prismacolor pencils to color them, then over stamped them & die cut. I really like the look of pencils on dark card stock. The large white panel was stamped first w/ just the Joy using little red & green Memento inks then I used an embossing folder to add the texture.
The big J & Y & snowflake were die cut then sponged on the lower half. I added little snowflakes on top of the O's on the red & green Joys.
Congrats again, Jan ! Thanks so much for looking. Closeups & the inside are on my blog:The Write Stuff

Julie, your card in honor of Jan is so gorgeous! I love the bells stamped and colored on a dark card stock. The image is very striking on the green panel! I love the embossing on the white card stock and the beautifully done sentiment! Wonderful card, my friend!!!
