I stamped the tree image with black Memento ink then using a Versamark pen, I coloured on the trees a bit and white heat embossed to give the look of snow. I watercoloured the open area then splattered with white acrylic paint.

Beautiful take on the Dali painting, Karen! Gorgeous Christmas card! This is the kind of card that I wish the recipient would know the meaning behind it, because I just think the process is so cool.

Wonderful little scene - my first thought on seeing this (especially the pines popping out of the oval frame) "Bob Ross Joy of Painting" . . . . I like that little bit of snow clinging to the bottom edge of the oval.
