A big congrats to Patti, the newest Featured Stamper! I had a great time strolling thru her gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the Christmas wreath design but I used a stamp instead of punched felt & different papers & a different layout.
After coloring the wreath, I die cut it w/ an arch die & did a little out of the box for the parts that hung outside the edge. I used some double stitched rectangles to construct the white layer behind it & stamped the greeting over the arch. The two printed papers were die cut, then I stacked them, cut them then put the top of the print on top of the plaid. I used a stitched band behind the arch to go over the split of background paper. Sort of a chair rail look. Since there was still so much blank space below on the plaid paper, I stamped the Christmas on a little rectangle & added the white Merry above it.
Congrats again, Patti! Thanks so much for looking. Closeups, the inside & Copic colors are on my blog:The Write Stuff

Julie, your creations are always out-of-this world fabulous. What a gorgeous wreath you've made here, with the "out of the box" feature, framed by the arch! I am a big fan of buffalo plaid, so that patterned paper touch just sealed this beauty for me!
what a beautiful card!! your colors just pop off of the page..
