I have been on a crazy quest to finish and mail my Thanksgiving today. In my quest, I've been digging deep into scraps and fails!
The brown shimmer is leftover from my DD's wedding invitations. I had punched out the tree and wanted glitter around the negative, made a huge mess, but I hated to throw the beautiful paper away. Tossed it into the fail drawer. I turned it over, rubbed off the adhesive, trimmed the paper and began again. The tag was already attached, so it got switched to the other side and popped up on a new ribbon. I punched an extra tree from glitter paper, offset it from the negative and very, very carefully added some glitter to the bottom. Whew, got it done and in the mail! TFL

This is so pretty and excellent use of scraps! I love copper..it's so rich looking and adds warmth to any project. The tree is the perfect symbol for Thanksgiving.....it reminds us of all our family here and gone and for them we give thanks.

Well done on getting all your cards done and mailed. I've left it too late to mail the only one I normally send :-(. I love that image with the tree which was on one of the other cards too - and great rescue from your reject box!

I just love it when stashed bits turn into glorious cards as yours has. I save everything and it invariably turns into a card sooner or later usually at VSN lol
