On a separate piece of watercolor cs, I used the inking method where you rub your ink on a craft mat, then spritz it with water and then lay/drag/dip your cs in it (coral, orange, pink). Let that dry and then splattered with some gold color shine. When dry, cut this down to the strip you see on the border of my card.
On my card front I stamped the leaves using my MISTI, and building up color on each leaf by sponging ink on the stamp rather than inking it with the full ink pad. I love the softness you get with this technique and your layering shows up so well. Splattered more gold color shine along with some diluted inks (same colors as leaves) and die cut a gold foil sentiment. Assembled and added a gold strip on the border.

This is a beauty for Fall. Love the gold trim, awesome colors and watercoloring, and the splatters are super.

Maura, this is a true autumn splendor of a card! I love how you made the strip along the side, then layered the color gradually on the leaves to get the most color out of them. The gold splatters and gold foil sentiment are the perfect finishing touches on this gorgeous card! ~Karen.
