Hi all,
I was stumped at first!! I'm a pretty "unfancy" person and I don't shop so seeing the purses (and the prices) I almost couldn't think! Then I came upon this pair of shoes and thought, hey I think I can do something with that, they look a bit like western boots and spurs.
I stamped the Stampendous leather tooled design with silver on black, I tried white but I like the silver better. I have some old studs for garments (5 prong) that was just the right size for a decorative concho and the silver sticker nail heads (3 mm) were just right for my decorative studs. I have always loved this horse trio so I stamped it with VersaFine since I was not going to color it. The chain is a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I showed this to my hubby and he loved it so I hope you do too!
The card size is a bit different for me, 6" X 4 3/8"...it was going to be 7" but I trimmed off the bottom.
A few people ask if I really don't shop and the answer is I really don't clothes shop...I spend all my "miscellaneous" money on craft stuff!! LOL! Plus, we don't have ANY clothing stores in Oakhurst. Closest store is about 45-50 miles away down the hill in the city. I occasionally buy something on-line...reasonable! Not much of a big spender.
Thanks for looking!

Wow! This is beautiful and so creative, Robin. I love the horses and the stamping on the bottom is perfect for this card. I like the silver and all your hardware/stickers and die. My hubby just came through the room and said, "WOW, that's pretty."
Did you REALLY say you don't shop???? Your hubby must love that.

You don't shop? (and here I was thinking we were soul sisters!-LOL) Shopper or not, this card is marvelously designed and so naturally rich! I definitely can see the 'boots and spurs' feel you were looking for in your design and in the inspiration piece. P.S. I have a friend who loves riding horses - she would give her right arm for your amazing card (so let me know if it's on Etsy)! Going straight to my favs!

Those are definitely not a pair of shoes I would ever wear. I can admire them though. Your card is gorgeous Robin!! I love those horses. I'm glad you found something to inspire you, and I'm with you, I'm not much of a shopper and especially at those prices.

oh my goodness, Robin. You rocked the IC. I wondered about what inspired you from just the thumbnail, but wow...way to go. And those shoes...well I can admire them from this side of the computer. Great card.
