This is my card for the inspiration challenge #571. Two nights ago I went shopping at a thrift store and bought an old atlas because I knew the pages would make great backgrounds on cards. When I looked at the thumbnail of the horse bracelet (top right in the samples), I saw a map. It wasn't until I enlarged it that I realized it was horses. So I used both on my card. I stamped the horse image right on the map and colored very lightly with an inktense pencil & blender pen.

Love how you were inspired by your own perception of the piece at a smaller scale! Now that's true creativity at it's very best! I LOVE the horse as a watermark - it appears to be peaking in from behind the map! Wonderfully inspired design!

Wow oh wow! This card is gorgeous! And all because you accidentally saw a map in a horse bracelet. Brilliant! Also, I feel the need to go cut up some atlases...

Hey, Melody...what Kim said! You totally rocked the IC. And as I looked at your card, I spotted the knotted 'rope'...a fantastic touch. You were so right to pick up the atlas. Into my favs....
