Holly has a beautiful gallery, full of wonderful cards! I chose a wedding card she made, turning it into a Thanksgiving card, but keeping her nice layout! I cut the sentiment panel from the card front, then embossed the surrounding area with the Papertrey woodgrain impression plate. I cut the various leaves and vines from papers I'd made awhile back, using Ken Oliver color burst powders, earth tones. I decided on the arrangement, stamped the sentiment and then attached the leaves and popped the center panel up with foam tape. Here's Holly's pretty card that inspired me. Sue, your card is stunning. The rustic woodgrain is perfect for the beautiful leaves. You have captured the perfect colors of the fall leaves. They are sadly coming to an end here. The design that showcases the sentiment is very eye appealing. TFS

Sue, this is a gorgeous card. I love your leaf arrangement around the sentiment and the wood embossed background is the perfect touch with this card. I love it!

Wow Sue...your card really Pops with Fall colors :-) I love how you die cut your Color Burst background pieces. I just got 11 Color Burst 70% off from our local stamping store that is closing (owner retiring). We are all so sad to see our favorite craft store closing. I have lots of new products, but would have rather our store was staying open.

Holly's card was beautiful in an elegant way, but this card is in a class of it's own! Your gorgeously coloured die cut leaves, swirls and tendrils are stunning! Into my favs.

Ooh, this is certainly a big WOW!! Love the colors on your leaves and love how you have the viney leaves look like they are growing around the popped up center die cut! Sort of like a wreath but much prettier!
