This week we welcome our new Guest Hostess, Pam, to the Color Challenge Team. She has selected three lovely colors for our Color Challenge this week: Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso and Old Olive. The dessert option is Fall Flowers. Since I have no idea what kind of flowers these are supposed to be, I'm going to say they're fall flowers!
I've been away at a bobbin lace workshop for the last four days, thinking not at all about cardmaking. Fortunately, my subconscious made this card in my head, and all I had to do was convert it to paper! I started out with a large piece of Bristol cardstock, and stamped the outline with my MISTI three times with Early Espresso ink, then cleaned the stamp thoroughly (alas! not thoroughly enough) without moving the stamp or the paper and then overstamped with VersaMark ink two times. Heat embossed with clear powder, stamped the sentiment with the same ink, then colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a water brush. Cut the paper down, layered with Old Olive, added some Daffodil Delight seam binding ribbon, and mounted on a Daffodil Delight card base with dimensionals. Added a few sequins, and it was done!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!
