Today we congratulate Jeanne aka Penny627 as our newest featured stamper. I was spoilt for choice in the her colourful gallery and finally chose this pretty card because of the lovely decorative edge. Petite Petals / Gingham card by Penny627 at Splitcoaststampers
I changed mine to a new baby card, used the same edge die but omitted the dry embossing on the edge. There are lines from nursery rhymes on the front ... double sided papers are really useful aren't they?
NOTE: The feet on the stamp are not together requiring a larger circle die, which I didn't like ... so as we do, I took the stamp off the wood block and cut the feet apart. Now I can stamp them level and closer together.

Sandie, this is so sweet! I just love that soft pastel color. Those DPs are amazing. Of course we can appreciate your ingenuity on that footprint stamp.

Ya know that saying, 'necessity is the Mother of invention', right?!. I also baby bump in your edge. A lovely card for a new blessing. And that delicate green covers whatever bundle of joy arrives! Love your CAS style, sistah

I was drawn to that same card in Jeanne's gallery today and made note of it for future reference as I'm pretty sure I have those dies and embossing folder. This is really a lovely new baby card with those beautiful papers. Good thinking to cut that stamp apart to make it suit your needs!

Sweet new baby card. Love the decorative edge. Yes, two-sided papers are great for a lovely coordinated look. The baby feet are in step with the wonderful inside paper. Love the ribbon. Nicely done. TFS

What a sweet baby card! I love the papers. And you are a braver woman than I - I just can't bring myself to cut a stamp. I always mask off and stamp twice.
