The challenge for this card was indeed a challenge! Using a stamp set for something other than intended--hmmm. I finally decided to turn the lantern stamps from Winnie & Walter's "The Party" birthday stamp set into Christmas ornaments! I stamped them on Strathmore Smooth Bristol paper with Golden Glitz ink, and clear heat embossed them. I colored them with my Zig markers, and fussy cut them out. I also inked a piece of bristol with the gold ink and cut little ornament toppers from it. I die cut the branch, and stamped & die cut several pine cones & pine needle clusters. I glued those straight down on a light blue panel, and adhered the "ornaments" & toppers in place, popping up 2 of them on foam tape. I poked a hole at the top of each ornament topper, and threaded gold thread through. I poked a hole above the branch that each ornament would "hang" from, and threaded the other end of the thread through that, taping both ends to the back. To finish, I stamped my greeting in Golden Glitz ink, and clear heat embossed that as well.
