Card Details: Night of Navy and Copper play together beautifully for an elegant and easy card.
The base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and the top panel measures 4 x 5 1/4″. Heat embossing is always a WOW and on an image this big, well that makes for a BIG WOW #amiright. My heat embossing drill is always the same: Rub the cardstock with the embossing buddy, place the cardstock on a sheet of copy paper. Sprinkle with embossing powder, this time I used the Copper embossing powder. Carefully pick up and tap cardstock to remove excess powder and heat. Pretty fool proof. I added a band of Burlap Ribbon and then wound several passes of Copper Metallic Thread. It is a subtle, yet sparkly touch that adds an elegant look.
The Deer is cropped out of Crumb Cake using the SantaÂ’s Sleigh Thinlit Dies, and he is sensational! I am working on a home decor piece I am kind of excited aboutÂ…..stay tuned! The little copper bow tie is punched out using the Cookie Cutter builder punch and is adorned with a rhinestone. Such an easy card that comes together quickly thanks to the heat embossing and Big Shot. I love both those tools, they sure make me look like a rockstar #cleanandsimpleeasyandelegant
