This card is for today's Color Challenge and one of the Falliday Fest Challenges. I never have much luck with the salted watercolor technique, but I gave it a shot. I have tried different size salt crystals, but I do not get much response. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Today I sprinkled on the salt and went to dinner at my daughter's house. When I came home there was no salt to be seen and the CS was still damp. I dried the card and ironed it to flatten it out. I could not find my stamp positioner that locks the card in place so I tried to use a regular one and hold it in place. That worked for two stampings, but it shifted slightly on the third stamping and the image is not perfect. I did the best I could to clean it up. I painted the moon, first with a white paint pen and then with white shimmer paint. I added star sequins and some Dazzling Details Silver Shine that I just got in my order today. There was a huge clump of hardened glitter glue at the nozzle end and fortunately when it exploded it was on a scrap piece of CS and my stamping mat and not one my project! I used the end of a skewer to add dots to the card before I cleaned the mess up. After layering the panels to a card, I stamped a greeting and added some more star sequins. Card will be goin out to the Bright Star birthday card drive.

Even though you were looking for a little different result with the technique ... this is oh so cool! Look at the sunset colors and that splendid swirl! Works beautifully with this image!
