This is for Ky's Lights of the Season Challenge. Sparkle would have been better than Twinkle for a snowflake, but since this is probably going to end up in the bin rather than the mail, it doesn't bother me too much.
Took 3 attempts to get this far. First go, my sprays bled under the Frisket mask, should have remembered that. That's the piece I used to layer behind the square panel. Second go was gelatos and I quite like it but it still wasn't what I wanted. For this one, I put the snowflake Frisket (sheet, not liquid) mask on white card and painted with two colours of blue acrylic paint and dabbed a little gold in. After work I added lots of little white bokeh highlights with an eraser rubber.
Today I stamped in the snowflake in silver and embossed it with Iridescent Ice. Dry embossed the fleur de lis into the base and repeated the out of the frame bokeh effect with luster rub-ons, sorry I couldn't capture the shimmer. The main snowflake panel is popped up on foam. I decided I need to add colour to it, so used the Frisket I had cut the mask from as a reverse mask and sponged in some yellow ink. I know, snowflakes aren't yellow...the whole card is a bit of a mess.

Sabrina... don't you throw that away. It's so pretty! I love the shimmer and blues with silver is always a royal effect. Thanks for making all those attempts - I feel so honored! Thanks for playing!
