I am your hostess for the Color Challenge this week, and I've chosen Island Indigo, Calypso Coral and Bermuda Bay, with the dessert option of having a silhouette on your card. I don't know about you, but I certainly challenged myself with these colors!
And yet, I'm pretty happy with this card (although it is attempt number 3!). I used Post-It notes to mask off various parts of the main panel, and then sponged with this week's colors. I stamped in black and then sponged around the base of the tree to create an island, then clear embossed. I like the silver Nuvo drops for the stars, but I am a little disappointed that the white Nuvo drops sucked up some of the Island Indigo dye in the cardstock, and they are now white with tinges of blue—not what I'd planned, but oh, wel! :-)
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Lovely sunset. Yes, I agree the colors were a challenge, I couldn't get fall and Halloween out of my brain. I love your summer scene with the palm tree. I certainly wish we were heading into summer instead of winter. Thanks for the challenge! Hugs

This is so pretty, Barbara!! I kept trying to visualize a silhouette card with the colors, but just couldn't come up with anything - but yours is awesome - well done!
