I was dubious of how the background would turn out when the glossy paper was still wet, but once dry, it created a mottled effect that very much look like clouds in the sky, so it was a perfect opportunity to use my stork stamp set (Special Delivery from Avery Elle).

LOVE this - that French stork is adorable and your background is gorgeous!!! Isn't amazing how much drying affects a watercolor piece? So unpredictable and fun.
