For Lori's Falliday challenge, we were to use wheat and make a thank you card. I grew up surrounded by the beautiful undulating wheat fields of Eastern Oregon - so majestic and beautiful, but I didn't have any wheat stamps in my collection! That is now fixed!
I masked an oval in the middle and lightly stamped hardwood (stamped off first to make it more faint). I'm thankful for the color challenges here on SCS because I searched them for ideas of colors to combine with my more mustard wheat. I added Wink of Stella to the butterflies for a bit of sparkle.
Thanks for looking.

Catherine,
a lovely wood grain background, with the wonderful oval mask shape! A heartfelt sentiment, beautiful butterflies, and a wonderful wheat image make this a glorious card!

What a beautiful card Catherine! This wheat image is so detailed and such a nice focal on this card. I am a HUGE fan of wood grain and I love how you softened the look of it here. The masked off oval really showcases your wonderful sentiment and these lovely butterflies. This is going right into my favs! ~Karen.
