You have me salivating, Patty...with your inspiration photo this morning! That apple crisp dish all warm from the oven would be a huge hit with my guys...but I am in the studio not the kitchen!
My card is simple...when I was playing around with the Brushos, dry embossing and the Tim Holtz 'Thankful' emboss folder, I had three different color experiments...this is part of one of them. It was not so vibrant and I really didn't like it (anybody ever feel that way)? I set it aside thinking I might could salvage it later. Today the panel reminded me of some of the apple varieties available in our local orchards at the moment.
Tore the bottom part by hand. Found a wonderful tree dp from a discontinued Memory Box paper. Married the two elements and added a bit of paper twist trim.
Think I'll go pick me some apples this afternoon, I want those glorious smells in my kitchen.
Happy Falliday creating out there. Thank you for stopping by.

Lovely card, Susan. I like the the bg DP comes thru your elaborate die cut...makes a stunning statement of the bright colors against the embossed black bg.

So glad you did not throw away any part of this card! The variation of colors is beautiful! I really love the flourish with the bird sitting on the branches!
