This is another image that I worked on while out of town over the weekend. I'm really enjoying the vintage watercolor technique. The elegant writer pens give such beautiful variation of colors when they bleed after being activated by water. That's how this butterfly was colored. I went back with my markers to add some details back in and shaded around the edge with the Smoky Slate. I cut this with a circle die and stamped my sentiment. I had the card base already cut and scored, but I had smudged with ink in the top left corner trying to sponge around the embossing. It was a perfect piece to try out Bev's technique. I used my ink pad direct to paper shifting the orientation of the pad around to give the variation in lines. The whole front is shiny from then embossing with clear ep. I added a black strip to dray the eye in and called it done.!
