I still had this lovely set of retired dp out on my desk and I had taken along some stamped bears and my Elegant Writer pens when I was away for the weekend so I had some more of my little football heroes already colored using the vintage watercoloring technique (stamped in Vintage photo then some pen added, activated with water and moved around to color the image). On the upright card I fussy cut around my image and popped up the left side as my closing piece of the special fold. I saw one of Beate's sample cards on the tutorial was vertical and that worked better for my image so I went that way for the first time ever with a joy fold card. On the top card I stamped my sentiment on a dp piece and the second sentiment on a scrap of Rust. I diecut the second and sponged in the die and punched the first then sponged along its edges. I added a tiny row of rick rack trim along the edge of the bottom piece. On t;he second card I put the image on the smaller "card" of the joy fold and used an image stamped from Baroque Motifs and fussy cut. I added a brad center and popped the left side to form the closing piece. These were a lot of fun and I love my new sentiment set!

Oh, Gail, I love both of these cards! Your little bear is just adorable with his football and band-aid! I love the vintage feel to both, and the way you rotated the Joy Fold design! Lovely job!
