Gorgeous color for a Christmas challenge, Teresa. I write once again, remembering my Grandmother who ALWAYS had a pink flocked tree each year. It takes me right back to the '60's to those trees.
I used the mid century modern trees from the Hero Arts clear set (2015), stamping in VersaMark and embossing with an ep called 'Winter Wonderland'. Definitely makes me think of my more modern parents who used the aluminum trees and a color wheel that revolved to create wedges of light.
The ornaments on my trees are buttons from Mom's box. Added the foil border, a snip of ribbon . The Joyful greeting was embossed with a Stampendous ep called 'Sahara Pearl'.
Thanks for your comments...I'd love to hear a special memory of Christmas when you were young.

This shimmery modern design is such a departure for you. Heck, there's not even any furniture on this one! This reminds me of my Aunt Elvira's silvery tree. They had a color wheel at the bottom of the trunk and as it spun around the tree turned colors. We just thought that was so amazing compared to our boring green tree. Thanks for taking me back to that memory.

Susan, this is marvelous, love all the trimming and your story! We had a color wheel too. No tinsel tree, just scads and scads of tinsel on that tree meticulously draped by Mom and me. My brother got out of it by throwing tinsel at the tree. Oh my, that took time to untangle =]
