My mom needed yet another thank you card, so I created this for her. For spacing, I stamped the greeting in the middle of the text panel, then traced a circle around it. I cut out the middle with scissors, not quite to the traced line, then tore around it and folded the edges towards the outside. I die cut all my leaves from watercolor paper, colored them with Distress inks on fingertip sponge daubers, then spritzed them with water to blend the inks a bit more. I stamped my greeting on some taupe cardstock with Charcoal ink, and adhered that behind my text panel. I glued the leaves around the perimeter with Perfect Paper Adhesive, cut off the excess, and mounted the panel to a white A2 card base. Hopefully this captures the feel of a New York fall for the challenge!
