This card tried my patience....it took me all day Sunday to make. It is for two challenges...Lee's challenge for snow on the leaves. Over at Marcella's blog seen here http://powerpoppy.blogspot.com/2016/...ark-peeps.html
We were to make something that moves. Using my new digi...water colored with the markers, painted the leaves with puffy paint, and added glitter. Cut out the frame and started to do the shaker frame. Followed instruction from the video....used tiny beads and snowy glitter. Adhered the frame over the acetate. Now for the sentiment....having so much time invested in this card, did a greeting that could be cut and put on the card. TFL

This is fabulous, Linda! I LOVE the bird on the snow laden branch and delicate vine trailing around the frame! The shaker snow makes it even more special!

Some cards really do try our patience to the max (I refer to it as pulling a tooth without Novocaine -sigh). However, your patience paid off BIG TIME because this card is stunning! Truly! I love this wonderful digi image you colored so beautifully. I love how you did the heavy snow laden branches and the glitter you added. The glittery snow twinkles and sparkles through this gorgeous, delicate frame surrounding your stunning image. I also love that you turned this into a shaker card- fun! Your sentiment is beautiful too! This is frame worthy for sure! ~Karen.

OH MY GASP!! Linda, you made my eyes enlarge to twice their size. Dare I say, this project is magnificent. Spending all day on a card, well, I know that was a tremendous investment of time and energy, and wow, it was worth it many times over!! You pulled off such delicacy, yet such depth. And don't even get me started on the "delight" and "wonder" aspects! Can't imagine how cool it is in person. Well, thank you for making my day by sharing your beautiful work.

Oh Linda; what a glorious card! Your colouring of that beautiful image is masterful. All your work to make it a shaker card is paying off in spades. This is amazing. Your framing and glitter really augment the image and don't detract from it - that's quite a skill! I LOVE this card!

This is just amazing, Linda. Your bird looks like he is real and ready to hop over to the next branch. What a terrific image for a shaker card. I love your die cut frame. Pinned and faved.
