I've stored Stampin' Up ink pads in cassette racks, in clear shoe-box sized containers, and the Stampin' Up Color Caddy. I have enough ink pads to nearly fill 3 caddies... I don't get rid of retired colors. I'm abandoning all my lateral file cabinets and converting to Kallax cubes so I can see what I have and use it. Given this, I needed my inks in a much smaller footprint, and this is it. I was inspired by this pin (Oriental Trading Company discontinue this item): https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...3d201dac5c.jpg
Finished the outside and all raw edges with Duct Tape. The cubby holes that had a smidge too much width were shimmed with a piece of cardboard to keep the stacked pads aligned.
Each cubby has a bit of space at the top for a laminate piece to be stored holding the color-dedicated blending sponges for that cubby hole. They are visible in the first 2 cubby holes; the remaining cubby holes have just the piece of pre-cut laminate because I ran out of blending sponges.
