Lee's Falliday challenge is to have frosty snowy leaves on our card. I went with mistletoe leaves.
I created a green background with two shades of green Distress inks. I made sure it was thoroughly dry before stamping and heat embossing my mistletoe with Versamark and white embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment with black Archival ink.
I then took a fine paintbrush and some water and lifted the green from the insides of all the mistletoe leaves and stems.
For added interest, I sprinkled Frantage chunky white embossing enamel over the panel and heat set it from underneath the cardstock.
I mounted it on fun foam for some dimension and added a white pearl pen to the mistletoe berries.

Wow! I REALLY like this! That vibrant green background really pops and is the perfect foil for your frosty mistletoe! I love the pearly sheen you achieved with your image and the berries. Thanks for sharing the details. ...I think I need to go shopping for some new supplies! :-)

Talk about "missing", Susan.....this is gorgeous. Love the white on the bright green and them your added white spatters and detailing on the berries. Lovely sentiment to go with the image.
