A card for Holly's Falliday Fest Challenge to feature holly leaves and berries.
I had the holly berry/leaves-printed vellum in my stash, don't know the maker. I layered the vellum panel over a panel of Whisper White, as it showed up better than on the Maraschino panel alone.
I die-cut the holly w/berries twice, once from green textured CS, and again from the Maraschino, trimming off the excess to leave just the red berries. I highlighted the leaves and berries with the brush markers, and then added glitter highlights with the clear gel pen. Then I layered the red berries onto the green holly leaves, & popped them up with a double layer of dimensional tape.
I heat embossed "Deck The Halls" from the SU set Christmas Messages on Whisper White CS, using Versamark ink and Cherry Cobbler EP. [Unfortunately, this is the last embossed image I'll ever get from my poor old heat tool, which died during the process! (Funeral at 11:00....) :-) So please excuse the poor job of heat embossing!]
This was a very fun challenge! I love the green and red of holly berries and leaves for Christmas cards!
