A big congrats to Dayanna, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a wonderful gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS to case. I love the cute little Koala & the shaker element so I kept those, but I made mine a dinosaur by using different images, different colors & I also used a die cut as part of the greeting.
To make my Dino Shaker, I stamped, colored & die cut the cut little dinosaur. The top white panel was also die cut w/ a pierced rectangle then I used a double stitched circle die to cut out the shaker part. After die cutting the pink & purple layers, I lined them up & cut the slightly smaller circle into the pink layer. I used the fuse tool to make a shaker pouch using a small plastic bag that sequins came in, put some color coordinated sequins in it, then sealed it. A thin foam layer was also die cut & put behind the pink layer to give the shaker some room.
Congrats again, Dayanna! Thanks so much for looking. Closeups & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff
