Picked up soft copper sheet last night but could not get to craft room until today. Spent over 40 minutes heating a small section with my heat embossing tool - got some variation but not as much as I had hoped for. It doesn't show up very well. Die cut & embossed my leaves, die cut sentiment & assembled card!

Forty minutes!! Bless your patience for persevering that long. You may not have got as much colour change as you hoped but those leaves are spectacular, especially the textured one. I have a DIY heat gun as opposed to a crafter's one, and I know that even with that I didn't get a lot of colour when I first tried this a couple of years ago. Mind you, I certainly didn't persevere for anything like that length of time.

This is lovely...those leaves look like wonderful fall leaves that would crunch when you stepped onot them. The copper looks beautiful against your darker bg.
