Vicki is our hotess this week, and she has challenged us with the combo of Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and Strawberry Slush. The dessert option is "texture." Texture always makes me think of texture paste, aka embossing paste. I swear, I love that stuff! So that was my starting point for this card.
I mixed several drops of Crumb Cake ink refill into a good-sized blob of white embossing paste, spread the paste through a stencil onto Sahara Sand cardstock, and let it dry.
Meanwhile, I die cut Plentiful Petals dies from Strawberry Slush cardstock, curled the petals and secured with an antique brad. I also die cut the "happy birthday" from the same cardstock.
Assembly was easy--Crumb Cake base, Sahara Sand textured layer, and then the flower with dimensionals and the sentiment with two-way glue.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!
