I decided to play off the circles in the sketch, so selected the Amazing Birthday stamp for the sentiment, then continued with the circles by stamping a banner strip with the small circles at the bottom of the sentiment stamp. I recalled that SU's retired "Sweet Taffy" DSP had the right color circles paper, so used that for the rectangular background panel at the top.
The circles were 2.75", 1.5", and 1". All elements were glued down with Tombow glue, except for the sentiment panel which was raised off the card base with Adhesive Foam Strips to give the card added depth.
I was trying to try something besides a floral design just to make it more challenging, but until I got into it, didn't realize how difficult it would be to do. If I were to do this card again, I would use a Blushing Bride wash over the DSP to soften the white circles.
I think this card would work for female friends' or relatives' birthdays who weren't in to "girly" cards.
