it's been a little while since i've brought out my copper and heat gun, so this was the perfect excuse. As always I come away with a little cut, this doesn't deter me
I used an old spellbinders die for the branch, and a memory box die for the ornament. The background is a SU embossing folder.
The ornament was made at a craft day with Susan and Loll when we were playing with alcohol inks on acetate.

Maybe I should be grateful that my copper was thin, no chance of a cut. But I still want to look for the proper thing. There's a highly customised motorbike in work, and the exhaust is tempered steel, I'd love it if I could get that blue on copper! The ornament is just beautiful too - and I bet that with the acetate, it must look so like a true old-fashioned Victorian glass bauble in real life. This is a real CAS stunner.

Beautiful Christine. Love the copper branch. Always a bit dangerous when working with copper. I always run it through my big shot with two clean plates to flatten it after cutting ... it does help eliminate some of the sharpness.
Love the colours from the AI's on acetate. So pretty! xx

That rich red is just gorgeous! Time to bring out the alcohol ink and copper again after seeing this one! Love the intensity of the colors. That embossing folder is gorgeous and so is the font of your sentiment.
