A BIG Congrats to Fran, the newest Featured Stamper! I've long been an admirer of her fabulous talent & generosity w/ comments for others. I chose THIS lovely card of hers to case. I needed a card for a baby girl, so I kept that theme w/ the baby carriage & the colors, but I used different images, different layout & added some dry embossing to the bg.
I stamped the sweet old fashioned carriage, colored w/ Copics, over stamped w/ Versafine then die cut w/ a double stitched square die. I had to do a little out of the box to keep from cutting off a couple of areas. A lime green mat was added & I attached to a piece of fun foam to elevate it a bit. The white layer was embossed & the Baby die was die cut once of the pink paisley paper & once out of white, which I colored to match, then stacked together a little offset. I tied a tiny little bow out of narrow pink ribbon & attached it to a die cut lime bow (from the Baby set dies).
Congrats again, Fran! Thanks so much for looking. Closeups & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Oh, Julie, your card is so gorgeous and your coloring of the baby carriage image is remarkable!! The card is so sweet!! I love the embossing, gorgeous background paper, and beautiful sentiment! You are so talented, my friend!!
Julie, this is absolutely adorable. You have such a talent for creating wonderful dimension and gorgeous color combinations. I love the embossed background and your framing of the image. As much as I work with die cuts you would think I would know how to do out of the box technique with stamped images....but sadly I don't. For some reason it escapes me how to do it. LOL!

Julie, this is so very sweet. I love your delicate patterns and colours. A true treasure for your recipient. The out of the box works beautifully on this.
