Mary's color this week speaks "Autumn". Made a birthday card for my brother, from a new stamp. We were raised on a dairy farm, so it will remind him of our younger days. Stamped, embossed and colored with the inkpads and paint brush. Stippled the trees with a scruffy brush, and added wink of stella. Added white with my ink. embossed bg and scored to make a border. Everything is going well, until it was time to write the sentiment. One problem with dip pens and inks, they sometimes bleed. I was not going to start over so took a copic fine liner and outlined the sentiment. It worked. TFL

What a gorgeous autumn scene! I love the colors you chose, particularly on the treetops. And wow! That sentiment turned out gorgeous. I was certain it was one of the scripty stamps that are popular nowadays. How amazing that you wrote it yourself! You have beautiful penmanship (even if the pen bled).

Wow, Linda, this is gorgeous and definitely does speak autumn in this stunning scene brought alive by your coloring artistry. And I love the sentiment outlined. I often think our mistakes turn out even better. Beautiful and stunning, my friend, and I love your new stamp. Hugs!
