Blocked off my card front with painters tape - brushed on Quinacridone violet paint, then dragged on streaks of Fushia and gold with a plastic card. Unfortunately when I took off the tape it stuck in several places and pulled off part of my blocked edge so had to quickly rethink my layout to disguise that with my fairy!

That technique for the bg panel created such a lovely bg...it looks better than some very expensive dp. The fairy is the perfect addition to this beautiful card, even if she is hiding a smudge. Such a striking layout and dedign.

Thank goodness for the tear from the tape because she is a perfect addition to this card and sentiment! Love the vibrant purple and gold with your black die and stamped images! Beautiful!

I saw this yesterday - fabulous colours and layout with the angles. That gold and fuchsia looks spectacular. I too had to add something to mine to cover a mishap. Sigh, that's the trouble with CAS cards, they are very unforgiving. Mind you, in this case I think the fairy really makes this card!
