A card that gave me a major headache, from placement errors, to cutting erros, to re-adjusting, and having to cut new background errors, and finally "settling" for this card. I am pleased with the effect...however, I had a problem with a "challenge" I gave myself, which was use the basket that I gathered, plus items already on my bed...and I had to give up, and give in to go get ribbon and scissors. *laughs* One I would repeat, if I had the same items, however, it's not quite what I had wanted. *smiles*
Fits the S2S challenge, of having a mail type theme (I fudged slightly on that, since the background is a travel theme, so is technically stamps from passports). For the alphabet....well, read the title! *laughs*...with Oro, Olive, Orange....*laughs*.

This is a really cool holiday design. I love the paint chip Christmas tree and how you blinged it up in gold - fun! I love the fun collage background paper you created and the cute tag with ribbon bow - I envy your ability to do collage because I am not able to do this at all. I am still giggling about your description of this card being ornry, etc. I have many cards that take me on this type of journey too so I am chuckling with you! You have made a wonderful card for the O challenge! ~Karen.
Erm....Karen? The background wasn't created by me (I feel like the housewives of the 50's when tv dinners, canned goods, cake mixes were coming out, and the advertising was "you can claim it as your own").
It is was a 5x7 Mat Pad called Traveler by Me and my BIG ideas. had the fall/vintage orange/olive/avocado type colors mainly...I was just surprised that i could pull that one into christmas. Of course, the other colors will work great for Halloween...I don't do "travel" themes very much...but a few I will be able to use as backgrounds, and others...well, i can pass along to others...because some are like scrapbooking backgrounds, and I don't want to cut up say, a kindof dull mustardy yellow paper, with a palm beach that says "vacation", or a fall orange with a beach chair, or a nice blue with a lifesaver...i mean, i can, it's my paper, but it would be like wasting some that wouldn't really be useful (except for like making circles with some variance of color).
Anyway, it's an interesting set. Thank you ,both of you, for your comments, Lynn and Karen!

This is great. I had peeked at it before, but just realized that the tree is a paint swatch thingy… great idea! I really like that background paper too.
