Oh my gosh, I have made so many mistakes with this card. I can't believe it turned out a card at all.
It is now an odd size, because I had to trim the sentiment off, since it turned out smudgy (is that a word?) So now I have to custom make an envelope for it.
The only reason I kept it, is because I love the image and I love the wax seal.
Thanks for looking.

I am so tickled you hung in there and turned this into a card you posted! This card is terrific! I love the partial frame around this wonderful vintage Santa face. I could not figure out what the silver piece was until I read your description that it is a wax seal (so cool). I also love the colors you chose and sponged and I love the hint of gems! ~Karen.

I think we've all been there! Way to go keeping at it and just look at the finished result! Clean, crisp and lovely! I really like the soft color you used and that wax seal is such a fantastic touch!

Yes, I'm glad you stuck with it too! Love the wax seal and image, but wow, excellent use of the partial frame, it actually make this more substantial! Beautiful!!!

This is just lovely, Hilde. No one would ever guess that it caused you any grief to make it. The soft colors are beautiful and I love the image....so much better than the usual Santa in the red suit.

Hilde, I do love that Santa and the great color you used for the inking. The snowflake is just the perfect embellishment for this wonderful Christmas card. Like the partial frame, also.
