I decided to try working with some mixed media paper, rather than water color paper and played with my color burst powders again. I sprinkled sepia color burst powder on the paper, misted with water and let it dry. Instead of using it as a BG for the trees, I decided to cut the trees from it and back it with solid cardstock. I'm just fascinated with all of the different colors in the sepia powder. This is for a special friend of mine, who enjoys nature as much as I do.

Oh my gosh, I never would have dreamed you would get those colors from the sepia powder! Cutting the birch trees from that water colored paper was inspired! This is just gorgeous!!!

What a COOL idea! I love how this turned out Sue and your'e so right about the colorburst powders...you never know just what you'll get and it's amazing to watch.

WOW, I love how you made those trees look!! Before looking at it up close, I thought the bg in blue looked really neat, but I like how those trees took the sepia colorburst. Very creative and interesting!! :>)
