This is my card for this weeks CC601. Barbara is our hostess and she chose melon mambo, mint macaron and dapper denim for her challenge colors. For dessert I made a paper ribbon.
I was finally able to get my card made after being sick for several days with a head cold.
I like making Christmas cards using non-traditional colors so that's where I went with this one. I also tried my hand at making a suspended spinner card. Interactive cards are really popular right now in card making. Here is the SCS tutorial. It spins nicely and will be a surprise when opened by the recipient.
My background is the "by the shore dsp" from Stampin'-Up. I also used several new CottageCutz Christmas dies.
Used this card for my weekly DT post on the CottageCutz blog. There are more photos and my step by step process on the blog.
