Hi again! I'm combining two challenges for this birthday card; Sketch challenge and Ways to use it.
This was an easy card to build, took me longer to find the designer paper. Funny thing is, I was about to cut up the Moose that was on the same 12x12 card stock (picked this up while in Alaska), I like moose but truly not that much hahaha. I digress...
*Fussy cut the Bear and paw prints and popped up with foam tape. Added gem for the eye.
*Heat embossed this sentiment from Tim Holtz (it's meant to be this way - distressed)
*Assembled layers as per the sketch, at least most of it. Added the vellum atop the dp to soften the look.
*Added the paw prints to interior and envelope.
It was fun putting this together and glad to use this paper, finally.
Where are you journey-ing to!?!
Hugaroonies!

Great idea to use the vellum on this unique design. I need to find time to do this challenge! And it is very nice paper to have gotten the chance to use it. I really like that paper! Very nicely done!

Moose scare the daylights out of me!! My family and I were in an old cemetery doing some genealogy years ago, and a moose came crashing through the woods. I was gone....lickety split to the car!!! I used bear (bare) feet too. I really like the dp you used (from Alaska?!), and glad you could find it. That's always a problem for me. Well done.

Oh, that DP is fabulous. It's the sort I have to really work to make myself use up, LOL. The bear and paw prints are great. And so is the sentiment - I'm always telling DH to slow down and enjoy getting there, not just rush rush to arrive.

Love how you used this great card to double up on the challenges. Love this masculine look.

I love this card - it not only fits the challenges, but it has a great "north woods" feel to it too with this pine cone dsp! I love this bear and his big paw prints, and I love the embossed sentiment too! Very nice indeed! ~Karen.
