For the Alphabet Challenge post # 2047 and the USEIT in 2016 Challenge.
Our challenge letter drawn at random by Dani was the letter "O" and the double challenge was to make a Only One layer card. So to give the effect of more than one layer, I sponged color on here leaving the oval space white for the sentiment. One layer cards are a real challenge for me! For the USE it in 2016, I used Lotus Blossom stamp that I got for SAB sometime and had never used before! In fact someone in the Alpha forum inspired me to get it out. I never even knew it had the little tags, and also told you in what order to use it! LOL So used it with my new Misti! Fun! Also, I had purchased these Peel offs at a craft show years ago and had never used them! For crying out loud, these people see us coming, they show their product, make you want it, then you get it take it home and forget about it!!!! I even have a special sheet of something, that you use to use the negatie of those peel offs!! But I didn't use that, I just used my exacto knife to take off the negative and put around my oval! Sorry for rambling! Thank you for looking!

Love your rambling, and so true about getting inspired, buying said product and then not using it. I am guilty, lol.
I had just pulled out that set last week for first time. (See above sentence, lol). The bloom looks lovely on your card with your sentiment. Gotta love the Misti too! And orchid opulence, well done for letter "O".

Beautiful card for the Double O challenge Sharon. Orchid Opulence is my favorite of the StampinUp purple colors - I use it a lot! You have really showcased this color beautifully here with the gorgeous sponging and this wonderful sentiment! I love how you added special little pieces around the sentiment area too- very nice! The flowers are gorgeous with just the right amount of sparkle. I love those little peel off's in the opposite corners from the flowers. Too funny about the craft show you attended- so true!
