I finally got around to trying Karen Dunbrook's woodgrain tutorial. She gives the best instructions and I'm so pleased with how my panel turned out. I followed her instructions with the glue, then applied pumice stone, weathered wood and faded jeans distress inks. The poinsettia was cut from some smooshed watercolor BG's I'd made, using worn lipstick and festive berries, and another panel using evergreen bough. I tilted the woodgrain piece, framed it with blueberry sky cardstock, stamped the sentiment and added the poinsettia. Here's the link to Karen's website if you're interested. The tutorial is from Jan. 16, 2016.

FABULOUS! Great layout, pretty flower and super wood grain back ground. I'm a real fan of Karen's wood grain tutorial - such great results and in the color of your choice.
