It's been a long time since I've had the opportunity to honor our weekly Featured Stamper. Congrats to Gail aka mamasix as FS502! She has an amazing and super large gallery but as soon as I saw this card (Birthday Writing by mamaxsix at Splitcoaststampers) I knew it was the one I wanted to CASE.
I needed a masculine birthday card for a co-worker's birthday this week and decided on using some old Graphic 45 papers and give a distressed look to the card. I used Gail's basic layout, omitting just a couple of small pieces behind the tag, but changed all other elements (papers, inks, colors). Where she had a flower off the edge of her tag I added the flying clock that was fussy cut from the Steampunk Debutante Collection dsp.
I have a few more details about my card on my blog.

Stef, I love all the vintage elements on your card. Graphic 45 never fails to create gorgeous paper and you have used them together perfectly. The distressing is perfect.
