So, I spent a lot of time between when I seen Kitties card streak through the gallery last night and way too early to be awake today poking around in Gail's gallery. ( I have so many of them in my favorites but, those are there because, I love them. every detail, I wouldn't change a thing...) One of the things that always tickles me is how Gail uses texture with a MM kick and still keeps it simple. So, when I found this gem this morning I "knew" I had some old Polished stone sheets filed that I "knew" were pink lol.. you know left over HYCCT stuff because, I hoard scraps... so, I told my self changing the colors and eliminating the resist would be two changes... So, you should have seen my face when the sheet I found was NOT Pink. Ha Ha ( I changed more than that, the textile became Washi tape and moved down, and ended up switching seasons too because, HEY, Fall is Coming SOON! what 6 more days? (something like that) at any rate this was a really simple one that went really quick for me and I love it, one thing I learned is if you put your washi tape down before you stamp your sentiment ( to get it straight) do NOT stick your finger on the hot tape after melting the powder if it buckles lol... Thanks for this challenge Kittie, & tfl.

Love the look of the skeleton leaf over your pretty polished stone piece in the pretty Fall colors. The metallic embossed sentiment looks great with your Washi tape (thanks for the heads-up on heat transferring to the Washi -I've burnt my fingers too many times to count! )

Love those brilliant fall colors in your background, Stacey, and that skeleton leaf! I used to have some of those a million years ago, wonder where they've gotten off to... It's a perfect accompaniment to your polished stone.

Gorgeous card Stacy!! I think you nailed Gails's style and explained it so well..she does do some interesting Mixed Media "stuff" and then comes up with a CAS card..it's brilliant.
