This is another sample for this week's celebratory 600th Color Challenge! Our esteemed hostesses have chosen their favorite combos from the last 100 challenges. Vicki chose CC592 in these beautiful colors! I thought I'd give bleaching a try and see if I got close to the Saffron or Cantaloupe color with the bleaching. I really like the color that the Coral bleached to. I stamped in Versamark and embossed in clear and used a bleach pen to add the bleach and then a wet paintbrush to get it into all the areas. Once it was bleached I used plain water to stop the action and be able to add some color back in. I had looked at so many of the challenges that I mis-remembered the desert for this one as your favorite green when it was actually dimension so I colored my stems over the bleaching with Old Olive. I added some Cantaloupe accents on the flowers. I had made a first attempt where too much bleach escaped the stems so I had some extra flowers with which to add dimension. I cut an entire flower from the right hand flower and individually cut between the petals and cut out the center. I curled some of the petals up and popped some of them higher and used a glue dot to add dimension to the center which I curved a bit first by running the end of my paintbrush over the center when it was upside down. I added a couple of pieces to the left hand flower as well. I stamped my sentiment and the frame onto a Saffron piece and fussy cut it. I decided to add a ribbon so I scribbled some marker onto an acrylic block and added water then ran a piece of ivory seam binding through it to dye it to match the Cantaloupe. I stamped the corner details onto both the image panel and base. I sponged along the edges of the image panel. Once my ribbon was in place I popped the sentiment piece over it.

This is gorgeous!! I love how you popped up the flower! It's so funny because I made a card using bleaching for the first time with this very same stamp set!!! I may be posting it soon. Great minds....
